(ii) Antiseptics : These are applied to the living tissues such as wounds, cuts and diseased skin surfaces.

Example : Furacine and soframicine.

(iii) Aspartame is the most useful artificial sweetner. Its use is limited to cold foods and softs drinks because it is unstable at cooking temoerature.
