Is the rational number expressing the amount of paper recycled more than $\frac{1}{2}$ or less than $\frac{1}{2}$?

Here, $\frac{1}{2}=\frac{1}{2}\times \frac{11}{11}=\frac{11}{22}$

and portion of paper recycled
$=\frac{5}{11}=\frac{5}{11}\times \frac{2}{2}=\frac{10}{22}$

So, paper recycled is less than $\frac{1}{2}$.
