Identify non-definite source(s) of water pollution from the following.
Non-definite source pollution involves many small sources, which combined to cause significant pollution. The movement of floodwater or irrigation water over land collects and transports pollutants such as fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides into rivers, lakes, reservoirs, coastal waters or groundwater. Water that reaches water bodies from city streets is also a non-definite source of pollution. In this situation, it is not possible to identify the individual or household establishment that cause water pollution.
Definite source pollution is caused by single source discharges. Thus, an industrial site that discharges pollutants into water source can be considered as a definite water pollution source.
