Identify the part of the neuron which receives electrical impulse first.
Dendrites
Dendrites of a neuron are the first ones to receive electrical impulses. The cell body, also called the soma, is the spherical part of the neuron that contains the nucleus. The cell body connects to the dendrites, which bring information to the neuron, and the axon, which sends information to other neurons. Myelin sheath surrounds the core of a nerve fibre or axon and is the insulating envelope of the axon, that facilitates the transmission of nerve impulses. An axon or nerve fiber, is a long, slender fibre of a nerve cell, or neuron, in vertebrates, that typically conducts electrical impulses known as action potentials, away from the nerve cell body.
