Solution

It is a type of learned behaviour in animals which can be better known as association. They repeat the behaviour if it has a positive outcome and they will stop the behaviour if it has a negative outcome. Hence when they bark at strangers they are promoted but when they bark at some family members or friends, the owner does not give a good response. Hence the learnt by the impact of their actions.
If they are not stopped from entering the kitchen then they will keep on doing it as they see it has no negative impact.
