Solution

The correct option is B Oxygen is the limiting reagent
C+O2CO2
According to balanced equation: 12 g+32 g44 g
According to question: 20 g+88 g?
Since, 12 g of C requires 32 g of O2
So, 20 g of C requires =20×3212 grams of O2
=53.33 g
Since 32 g of O2 requires 12 g of C
So, 88 g of O2 will require =88×1232 grams of C.
, Since C is less than available that is required with 88 g of O2
So, C is limiting reagent and it will divide course of reaction.
