10% Law of energy flow:

Based on the 10% law of energy flow in an ecological pyramid, the total amount of energy that can be transferred to the next trophic level is 10% of that of the previous trophic level. It also defines the maximum energy available to the given trophic level only. Here plant is the producer and in that trophic level the trapped energy is given as 20J. Energy received by the organism at different trophic level can be seen as follows:

Energy preset in the trophic level of the plant is 20 J
Energy present in the trophic level of mice will be: 20 ×10% = 2J
