The correct option is A 11 g
Before the reaction:
NaHCO321 g+CH3COOH15 gCH3COONa+H2O+CO2
Total mass before the reaction =21+15
Mass of the residue after the reaction=25 g
let x gram of CO2 be liberated
Total mass after reaction =25+x
According to the law of conservation of mass,
Δm=0
i.e., mass after the reaction mass before the reaction = 0 (i)
25+x36=0
or x=3625=11 g
Therefore, mass of CO2 released = 11 g
