That is,

35×x=27×x+44
35×x-27×x=44 35-27×x=4435+Additive inverse of 27×x=44 21-1035×x=44
1135×x=44
x=44÷1135

=44×3511=441×3511=44×351×11=154011=140

Hence, the number is 140.
