Dividend = 460
Quotient = 5x + 6
Remainder = 1
We know
Divident=Divisor×Quotient+Remainder
460=x5x+6+1460=5x2+6x+15x2+6x-459=0x=-b±b2-4ac2ax=-6±62-4×5×-4592×5x=-6±36+918010x=-6±921610
x=-6±9610x=-6+9610,-6-9610x=9,-10.2
Thus, divisor = 9, quotient = 5x + 6 = 5×9+6=45+6=51
