Solution

The correct option is B $3$
Given:-
$4 x + 3 y = 12 . . . . . (1)$
$2 x - 3 y = 6 . . . . . (2)$
Adding equation $(1) & (2)$ , we have
$(4 x + 3 y) + (2 x - 3 y) = 12 + 6$
$6 x = 18$
$\Rightarrow x = \frac{18}{6} = 3$
Substituting the value of $x$ in equation $(1)$ , we get
$4 (3) + 3 y = 12$
$3 y = 12 - 12$
$\Rightarrow y = 0$
$∴ x - y = 3 - 0 = 3$
