The correct option is A 7
Given that 5 : x :: 25 : 35 are in proportion.
So,
$\frac{5}{x} = \frac{25}{35}$
Reducing $\frac{25}{35}$ to its simplest form, we have
$\frac{25 \div 5}{35 \div 5} = \frac{5}{7}$
Hence, $\frac{5}{x} = \frac{5}{7}$
$x = 7$
