To calculate the time that the ball takes to reach the batter, we need its speed and distance because,

Speed = DistanceTime

But here speed is given in km/hr and distance in m, so, we need to convert all units to SI units.

1 km = 1000 m
1 hr = 3600 s

Speed = 20 ms1
