The distance between any two points an a line parallel to X-axis $=|x_1-x_2|$ where $x_1$ and $x_2$ are X-coordinates of points.( Y coordinates will be the same )

Let the coordinates of required point be (x,5)

$\therefore |x-6|=5$

$\Rightarrow x-6=5\left(or\right)x-6=-5$ ( Since it can be either side of the coordinate axes)

$\Rightarrow x=11\left(or\right)x=1$

$\therefore$ Points are (11, 5) and (1,5)
