If a number is divisible by $8$, then it also divisible by $4$ also . Explain?

Suppose a number ${}^{\prime }{N}^{\prime }$ be divisible by $8$
this means that the Number must contain $8$ as a factor
$i.e.N=8\times M$ where $M$ is the Result when $N$ is divided by $8$
Now, since $8$ is a factor of $N$ and $8=4\times 2$ that means $4$ is a factor of $8$ and $N$ can also be written as
$N=4\times 2\times M$

So, $N$ is also divisible by $4.$
