Solution

A plant is a living organism because they perform activities like photosynthesis, respiration, they grow, etc.

When a cell is taken from the plant, it is considered as non-living. Because with the course of time they stop functioning as they were doing earlier. Later, it becomes the dead cell.

In a plant, cells do not move. They remain in the same position. Because plant cell contain cell wall, which does not allow to move or expand.
