Given, $\frac{4 a - 3}{2} - \frac{3 a - 1}{5} = \frac{3}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{5 (4 a - 3) - 2 (3 a - 1)}{10} = \frac{3}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{20 a - 15 - 6 a + 2}{5} = 3$
$\Rightarrow 14 a - 13 = 15$
$\Rightarrow 14 a = 28$
$\Rightarrow a = 2$
