Question

If an object has zero momentum.........wh wh will be it's kinetic energy.........(can the velocity also never be 0)??????

Open in App
Solution

No because momentum is given by mass * velocity.
Since momentum is zero, velocity is zero as object cannot have 0 mass
Hence the kinetic energy will be zero as K.E = 1/2 mv^2
