According to the given ratio, Chalk contains-
Weight of $C a l c i u m = 10 x$ ,
Weight of $C a r b o n = 3 x$ ,
Weight of $O x y g e n = 12 x$
And weight of carbon in the chalk stick $= 3 g$
So,
$3 x = 3 o r x = 1$ ,
Hence,
Weight of chalk stick $= 10 x + 3 x + 12 x$
$= 10 \times 1 + 3 \times 1 + 12 \times 1$
$= 10 + 3 + 12$
$= 25 g$
