According to question, $\frac{3}{4}th$ of $x-\frac{2}{7}th$ of $x=44$

$\Rightarrow \frac{3x}{4}-\frac{2x}{7}=44$

$\Rightarrow \frac{7\times 3x-4\times 2x}{28}=44$

$\Rightarrow \frac{21x-8x}{28}=44$

$\Rightarrow \frac{13x}{28}=44$

$\Rightarrow x=44\times \frac{28}{13}=\frac{600}{13}=46\frac{2}{13}$
