The correct option is B

$\frac{8 x + 13 y}{8 x - 13 y} = \frac{9}{7}$

Applying componendo and dividendo, we get

$\frac{8 x + 13 y + 8 x - 13 y}{8 x + 13 y - 8 x + 13 y} = \frac{9 + 7}{9 - 7}$

$\Rightarrow \frac{16 x}{26 y} = \frac{16}{2} \Rightarrow \frac{x}{y} = \frac{16}{2} \times \frac{26}{16} = \frac{13}{1}$

$∴ x : y = 13 : 1$
