Solution

The correct option is B 0
log2(4x+1+4)log2(4x+1)=log2(8)

log2(4(4x+1))log2(4x+1)=log2(8)

[log2(4)+log2(4x+1)]log2(4x+1)=log2(8)(logab=loga+logb)

log2(4x+1)[log222+log2(4x+1)]=log223

log2(4x+1)[2+log2(4x+1)]=3

Let y=log2(4x+1)

y2+2y3=0

(y1)(y+3)=0

y=1,3

log2(4x+1)=1,3

4x=1,78

Since,4x>0

Therefore, 4x=1

x=0
