Given equation is: 3x210x+p=0
Substituting x=13 in the above equation, we get
3(13)2103+p=0
13103+p=0
93=p
p=3
Now we know that product of roots is ca for a quadratic equation ax2+bx+c=0
Hence, ca in the above case will be =p3
Now let the unknown root be β
Hence, β.13=p3=33=1
Hence, β.13=1
β=3
Hence, the value of the unknown root is 3.
