If one zero of the polynomial x24x+1 is 2+3, then find the other zero.

Let consider two zeros are α,β

Given, α=2+3...(i)

As we know,

Sum of the roots, α+β=ba=41=4...(ii)

Comparing x24x+1 with general form ax2+bx+c we get,

a=1,b=4,c=1

From equation (i) and (ii),

2+3+β=4β=23

Hence, another roots of the given equation is 23
