There are 31 days in January month. So we have to find the sequence with the pattern of numbers which has

First term as 1

Next term will be 4 added to the previous term

Last term will be just less than 31

So the sequence is 1,5,9,13,17,21,25,29

It has 8 terms. That means Ram visited the temple 8 times in the month of January.
