Precautions:

1. The surroundings and the house should be clean.
2. The person who has been infected should be kept in a separate room.
3. The patient's clothes and utensils should be cleaned on a regular basis.
4. The patient should use separate towels and handkerchiefs.
5. Children should not be allowed to visit someone who has been infected.
6. The patient should be given balanced food as well as clean, boiling drinking water.
