Question

Question 3
If tanA=34, then sin A.cos A=1225

Open in App
Solution

Given, tan A=34=PB=PerpendicularBase

Let P = 3k and B = 4k

By Pythagoras theorem,

H2=P2+B2=(3k)2+(4k)2

=9k2+16k2=25k2

H=5k [since, side cannot be negative]

sin A=PH=3k5k=35 and cos A=BH=4k5k=45

Now, sin Acos A=35.45=1225
