If the adjacent sides of a parallelogram is in the ratio is 2:3 and the perimeter is 50 units, find the sides of the parallelogram
In a parallelogram opposite sides are equal
Let the adjacent sides be 2x and 3x
Perimeter = 50 units
⇒2(2x+3x)=50
⇒(2x+3x)=25
⇒(5x)=25
⇒(x)=5
Hence the sides of the parallelogram are 2(5) = 10 units and 3(5) = 15 units
