Given, base of the parallelogram = 16 m
Side of the square = 8 m
  • Area of the square
    = side x side
    = 8 m x 8 m
    = 64 m2
  • Area of the parallelogram
    = base x height
    = 16 m x height
Given,
Area of parallelogram = Area of square
16 m×height=64 m2height=6416 mheight=4 m

Therefore, height of the parallelogram is 4 m.
