Question

If the height of a cylinder is doubled and it's radius is halved then volume will be?

Solution

radius= r/2

height= 2h

volume of cylinder = pie x r^2 x h

             = pie x (r/2)^2 x 2h

              = pie x( r2/)^2 x  h

hence  volume will be halved
