If the length and breadth of a room are 15m and 10m respectively, then

Area : Perimeter =________ 3:1/1:6

Open in App
Solution

Given that,

Length of the room =15m

Breadth of the room =10m

Area of the room =15×10=150m2

Perimeter of the room =2(15+10)=50m

Now, ratio of area to the perimeter of the room =150:50

Lowest form of 150:50=15050=31=3:1 ( Divide both 150 and 50 by their HCF 50)

Hence, Area : Perimeter=3:1
