If the point (4,-2) lies on the graph of 2x=ay+3, Then (4,-2) satisfies the the equation.
putting x= 4 and y =-2 in this equation

=> 2*4 = a*-2 +3

=> 8 = -2a+3

=>2a =3-8

=> a = -5/2
