If the points (0,1) and (1,0) lie on the graph of the equation y=mx+c, then find the values of m and c.

(0,1) and (1,0) lie on the graph of y = mx +c
Substitute x = 0 and y = 1 to get
1= 0+c =>c = 1
so equation is y = mx + 1
Substitute x = 1 and y = 0 to get
0=m(1)+1 => m+1= 0+. m = -1
so y = -x+1 is the equation
Value of m and c are ;
m = -1 and c = 1
