Dear student,
According to 10% law only 10% of the energy is transferred to the next trophic level. So, if primary consumer has 400 J of energy then producer will have 10% more of 400 J i.e 440 J. So 440 J will be available to the producer. Secondary consumer will have 40 J of energy. Tertiary consumer will have 4 J of energy. Quaternary consumer will have 0.4 J of energy available.
