Solution

Given Sn = 2n²-n+1

S1 = (2×1)-1+1= 2.

S2 = (2×2²)-2+1 = 7.

Therfore

First term, a1 = 2. &

Second term a2 = 8-2 = 5.

and

d = 5-2 =3 .

Now 10th term

An = a+(n-1)d

A10 = 2+(10-1)×3

= 2+27

= 29
