Solution

If the temperature of the system at equilibrium is increased the equilibrium will shift in the direction which absorbs heat. This will nullify the effect of increased temperature. For endothermic reaction, the equilibrium will shift in the forward direction and for the exothermic reaction, the equilibrium will shift in the reverse direction.
