Given first algebraic equation : x+10=4
Subtract 10 from both the sides
x+1010=410
x=6

Given second algebraic equation: 10y=4
Add y on both the sides
10y+y=4+y
10=4+y
Subtract 4 from both the sides
104=4+y4
6=y or y=6

x+y=(6)+6=0
