Question

If velocity of projectile is doubled what happens to the maximum height of projectile?

Open in App
Solution

We know maximum height of a projectile motion is given by
H=v20sin22g
Thus from the relation we can say maximum height of the projectile motion depends on velocity of the projectile
directly.
Thus doubling the velocity will double the maximum height if the angle of projectile remains same.
