If we say that shaking of atoms produces heat in some liquid (say water) then, when we shake the same hot liquid (say water)it becomes cold instead of becoming more hot . Can anyone explain why??

Solution

Dear Student

While we shake any liquid the heat is produced and the temperature of the liquid increases and it becomes hot. Whereas, in case of making the liquid cold we keep it on in an open vessel so that its molecules can diffuse with molecules of air which at lower temperature as compared to that of the liquid thus, contributes in lowering the temperature of the liquid making it cold.
