Solution

The correct option is A tant
Solution:
We have, x=a(cost+logtant2),y=asint
Now,
dxdt=asint+atant2×sec2t2×12
=asint+a2sint2cost2
=asint+asint ( sint=2sint2cost2)
=a(1sin2t)sint
=acos2tsint.................(i)
And
dydt=acost................(ii)
Now,
From eqn.(i) and eqn.(ii), we get
dydt×dtdx=acost×sintacos2t
dydx=tant
Hence, A is the correct option.
