Freundlich adsorption isotherm can be expressed by the equation
xm=kp1/n

The Langmuir adsorption isotherm can be expressed by the equation
xm=bpl+ap

Adsorption isotherms and adsorption Isobars are plotted only when either temperature or pressure is kept constant.
