Sanitation is a condition related to the availability of clean drinking water and adequate sewage disposal. Due to lack of sanitation disease spread quickly. Some of the examples are Cholera, Jaundice etc. Poor sanitation areas are breeding grounds of mosquitoes. This affects humans in the form of Malaria and dengue.
The spread of insects is also resulting in transmit of diseases like Chikanguniya. So impoovement in water and sanitation helps to control many diseases.
