In 2003, total population of the village ($P_1$)=4800
40% of females =$\frac{40}{100}\times 4800=1920$
and number of males =4800-1920=2880
In 2004, total population of the village= $4800\times \frac{110}{100}$
is increased by 10% as compared to 2003=5280
Total number of females =1920
Number of males in 2004=5280=1920=3360
Number of males increased in 2004 then 2003=3360-2880=480
Total increase in percentage of males in 2004 as compared to 2003=$\frac{480}{2880}\times 100=\frac{100}{6}=16\frac{4}{6}=16\frac{2}{3}$
