Quantity of milk in 729 litres of mixture = $\frac{7}{3} \times 729 = 567 l$
Quantity of water in 729 litres of mixture = $\frac{2}{9} \times 729 = 162 l$
If 81 litres of water is added to the mixture.
Quantity of water = (162+81) = 243 litres
