Total Investment = ₹ 48,000

Shyam's investment
= $\frac{3}{8}$ of ₹ 48,000
= $\frac{3}{8}$ × ₹ 48,000
= ₹ 18,000

Rahul's investment
= $\frac{5}{8}$ of ₹ 48,000
= $\frac{5}{8}$ × ₹ 48,000
= ₹ 30,000

Hence Rahul 's investment is more than Shyam's

Difference = 30,000 - 18,000 = 12,000

Hence Rahul invested ₹ 12,000 more than Shyam.
