The correct option is D 30 Given, Rakhee's rank is 21st serially => 20 students got better rank than her's. Also given, Rakhee's rank is 34th from bottom => 33 students got a rank below her's. Hence we can conclude that the total number of students who passed =20+1(Rakhee)+33=54 Total no: of students in the class = No: of students passed+No: of students failed + No:of students absent =54+9+4=67 Since there are 37 boys(given in the question),the no: of girls=67−37=30 Hence, option 'A' is correct.
