In a class, some chocolates were distributed to the students. The number of chocolates given to each student is exactly the same as the number of students in the class. If a total of 676 chocolates were distributed among the students, how many students are there in the class?
26
Let the number of student in class be ′n′
If each students are given n chocolates
Total chocolates distributed is n×n = n2
∴n2=676
n=√676
n=√2×2×13×13
n=√22×132
n=2×13
n=26
So, number of students is equal to 26.
