In a dairy, there are 60 cows and buffalos. The number of cows is twice that of buffalos. Buffalo X ranked seventeenth in terms of milk delivered. If there are 9 cows ahead of Buffalo X, how many buffalo's are after in rank in terms of milk delivered?

The correct option is C 12
Let no. of cows = C and no.of buffaloes =B
Given : C+B=60 & C=2BB=20 & C=40
Buffalo X is 17th in rank => 16 cows and buffaloes are ahead of X in milk delivered.
In these 16,9 are cows(given) 7 buffaloes are ahead of X in milk delivered.
Since total no. of buffaloes(B) is 20 and 7 buffaloes are above X, the no. of buffalo's that are below or after in rank of X=208=12.
Hence, option 'C' is correct.
