DNA is a double starnded helical structure. Each strand is made up of nitrogenous base, deoxyribose sugar and phosphate group.

Deoxyribose sugar and phosphate group forms the backbone and nitrogenous base is attached to sugar projects inwards to form bond with other nitrogenous base of other strand.

So, the number of nitrogenous bases will be equal to the number of sugar milecules. Hence, 10 sugar molecules are present.
