The correct option is D $40$ cm
Let $X$ is the left gap resistance and $R$ is the right gap resistance
$l_{1}$ be the balance point from left

From meter Bridge principle:-
$⟹ \frac{X}{R} = \frac{l_{1}}{100 - l_{1}} = \frac{2}{3}$

$⟹ 200 - 2 l_{1} = 3 l_{1} ⟹ 200 = 5 l_{1}$

$l_{1} = 40 c m$

Hence option $(C)$ is correct
